Alumni Event 16th March 2013

Great news we now have a date set for the Alumni event, Saturday 16th March. Throughout the day there will be workshops and seminars in order for us to explore our responsibilities within industry and a great chance for networking through all modelmaking media. There will be food during the day as well as drinks in the evening at the Key West restaurant on the end of Bournemouth pier. www.facebook.com/keywestrestaurant

We have had a positive response from industry and graduates who have showed an interest in attending but as previous events there is a cost involved, we are conscious of the current financial climate so in order to get as many people as possible we are looking at £29 per person. There will also be a discount for current students. We will have more info being announced over the next few weeks also confirmation of cost and account details. We look forward to meeting up with you again…..

Tickets prices will include all events during the day, lunch and entrance to the evening event. Click here to buy you ticket now.

AUCB students won 5 of the 7 awards that were awarded during New Blades this year. Glen McDouall was voted winner of 'Best in Show' by visitors, James Algar being voted 'Runner Up'. New Blades 2009

Thanks, once again for the huge support of our annual New Blades exhibition in London. The turn out was as good as ever despite the tube strike. A huge thank you to Dianne from Foster and Partners for standing in at the last minute and opening the show. Many thanks once again to Rogers, Stirk, Harbour and Partners for their sponsorship of the bar. Our apologies to all those who we didn’t get to talk to, as usual we were very busy. A number of students have already secured employment, which is an encouraging start to what will be a very challenging year for our graduates and for the industry as a whole.
